Ross Lipton, MDNeurologist

After finishing medical school at Drexel University and Internship at Tripler Army Hospital, Dr. Lipton served as a Battalion Surgeon and General Medical Officer in the Army stationed around the world. After his extensive military service, Dr. Lipton went on to specialize in Neurology at the Stony Brook University Medical Center Neurology Residency Training Program. This was followed by further specialization with fellowships in Electrodiagnostic Medicine at Stony Brook University Medical Center, Neuromuscular Diseases and Neurophysiology at the University of Utah Medical Center under the renowned neuromuscular disorder expert, Dr. Mark Bromberg, MD, PhD. After several years practicing Interventional Pain Management in Utah, Dr. Lipton completed an Empire Clinical Research Investigator Program Fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis under Dr. Lauren Krupp at Stony Brook University Medical Center. After completing his training, Dr. Lipton worked with Long Island Pain Associates. At True North Neurology, Dr. Lipton will be diagnosing and treating patients with complex neurologic disorders; utilizing Botox and other injections to aid in patient treatment plans; and specializing in neuropathic pain management. Dr. Lipton will also take on an active role in the expanding research division.
